I am a vagabond in this life journey, with chapters in Saigon, Hong Kong, Aix en Provence, and now living and enjoying life in Lausanne. I love my work in journalism, public relations and communication. In recent years, most people label me as a pearl advocate. Indeed I love pearls, I wear pearls all the time, and I share information on pearls with clients, journalists, colleagues, friends and family. Pearls are, in a way, my lifestyle; or rather, a beautiful excuse to make a varied and happy living.

    Nice blog but are those flowers or snails on the top?

    You life has a lot more than pearls and blanc!! You could write a book about yourself.

    The photo on the banner features young pearl oysters. When they are young (the industry jargon for these baby oysters is SPAT), about 2 to 5cm only, they attach themselves to the net or any other collectors to fix themselves. About two years old when they grow beyond 10cm, they reach the adult size ideal for growing pearls.

    you are right,Monica, apart from handsome Blanc and beautiful pearls, I have also beautiful friendships.
